"They can't see anything." I scolded him. My fingers curled towards the edge of the archway, easing the sleep from my muscles.Įmory was glancing around us making sure no one had come up the stairs when he turned back and growled at me. I stretched, rolling my back off the bedrolls. I rolled onto my back my top half completely exposed with my arms raised above my head. It took a minute for my words to punctuate his mind but he sat up once he realized what I meant. "It's the lighthouse guards." I told him, my voice still soft with sleep. After a few hours it was only the moon that provided us with light to worship each other. I remembered making love to Emory as one by one the candles sputtered and died but we didn't stop. It was taking a second to recall everything. I rolled my head, my chin against Emory's chest and looked around. That is what made me remember we were still in the lighthouse. Someone said something I couldn't decipher that just made the other man laugh even louder. He had his leg tucked between mine and his hand thrown over my side. I curled up to him with my head on his shoulder. Emory groaned something about it being redemption day and not required to work. I could hear the waves crashing and they were loud inside my head. It has official been a full month I've tried three different devices and i've deleted my Wattpad app, redownloaded it and I still can't follow people.
